About the FotoDadi Foundation

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
Nelson Mandela.

The FotoDadi Foundation bridges the gap for financially disadvantaged fatherless and orphaned children, providing educational assistance from primary to first-degree level.

Our Story

The FotoDadi Foundation (FD Foundation) was founded by the 2Doer trio of Ogbonnaya Kanu, Segun Obagun and Eseohe Kanu, and was officially launched on the 29th of May 2015, in the loving memory of Tonye Claude-Wilcox and Wemba Otike-Odibi, both great men who impacted lives.

Barely four months after its launch, and on the 12th of September, the FD Foundation awarded its first educational grants to eleven children (aged between 2-15 years) who had lost their fathers. Their mothers or family members collected the grants on their behalf.

We are primarily funded by activities embarked on by our trustees and supported by other individuals who believe in the vision. The FD Foundation owes this accomplishment to all its sponsors and partners.
